Thoughts of Spring

Greetings from the deep freeze.

We are in the single digits in Western Massachusetts.

Everyone who has experienced a long hard winter is yearning for spring.

This winter has been a doozy.

But today, I'm sending you thoughts of warmer months, flowers, farmers' markets and open screened windows!

Even though it's not here  yet, spring will soon be on its way!

May your Sunday be blessed!

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MOST THIS SPRING?

Hi Susan, We love to have breakfast on the porch in spring. It's fun to watch the sunrise and hear the birds sing.
I also love to shop at the farmer's market.
Hope you have a blessed Sunday.

I always dread the heat and humidity of summer, but I must admit, I'm tired of snow. We've still got over a foot of snow in the yard - not to mention the mounds from shoveling - and got three more inches last night, and it's eight degrees. But just think how sweet Spring will be when it finally gets here. I love my four seasons we get here in snowy Michigan.

Thank you for the breath of fresh spring air. I say that as the sleet falls and the snow arrives in three hours. The town again is shut down. Give me summer heat any day.

Ohhhh I love the shade of those roses. A gentle, gray-rose color. Even if I can't describe it correctly, I love it!!!!

I look forward to being able to walk out my door, without having to be terrified of falling.

I'm "olden" so I always have to watch my step. Pay attention to where my feet go next, and how I place them.

But I'm tired of fearing my feet slipping and going right out from under me.

That's what I look forward to. Along with not needing all the outdoor clothing, to just step outside. :-)

I certainly can't complain with the winter we've had compared to the upper United States. Today, we will definitely feel like spring with temperatures almost 70! However, the roller coaster continues and we're back in the 40s by mid-week. Take it while you can, XOXO

Looking forward to the ice melting off the lake and the sweet sound of the the peepers returning. They usually start singing by the first week in April and that is truly a sign of spring for me.

Have a pleasant and peaceful Sunday.

I wish we could hold on to our current spring weather rather than the dreaded heat that I know is just around the corner. Sending warm wishes your way, Tammy

Well I hate to tell you dear friend - we here in GA are having spring - we are blooming. The pear trees. The flowering magnolia plants. I guess spring symbolizes a new beginning and a fresh start. sandie
