March of the Cobalt Blue Glass "Army"

One of my sisters, Barb, gave up her collection of cobalt blue glass.

Guess what she did with it?

Yup, she graciously gave it to "moi."

That was a couple of years ago.

Since then, I've added pieces, here and there.

So recently, up to the attic I trudged, and brought down the plastic bin labeled Cobalt Blue Glass.

I loved washing the glass pieces in warm, sudsy water and letting them dry til they sparkled.

Now, the sunlight streaming through them makes them look so darned picturesque in my blue, white and yellow kitchen.

The walls are painted a pastel yellowed called "Morning Sunshine."

I love the color of the walls.

And I love the cobalt blue glass pieces!

Life is so filled with beauty and pleasant surprises, like a sister giving up her cobalt blue glass collection!

Each moment holds so much to be thankful for and to celebrate.

We must concentrate on the little things in life to give us happiness.

Keeping a positive attitude is a gift you can give yourself!

And it doesn't cost a dime!

Hope you enjoy the photos of my cobalt blue glass collection. That would make me so happy!

I DO like your collection! I have a box somewhere labeled "Cobalt blue." I have no where to display it, though. Yours looks great on the window sill!

What a nice sister you have to just simply give up a collection and pass it on to her dear sister! I love it and yes, it's so much fun to add pieces to any collection we have.

Look at that Cobalt Blue glass collection! It looks so pretty on your window sill. This is quite a collection, I'm wondering why your sister gave it all up? I didn't know your kitchen was blue, white and yellow. Such cheerful colors.

Have a pleasant weekend, Susan.

love, ~Sheri
