Love from PolandGosiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14604712540141917583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-925673616741434546.post-81230942350927844032015-10-08T07:40:11.526-07:002015-10-08T07:40:11.526-07:00I have a friend who is polish who makes it in Nove...I have a friend who is polish who makes it in November her birthday month and brings me a big pan, I feel very privileged as I know how labor intensive it is she used ground pork and bakes it for a couple of hours huge pans of them..I helped her once it took us 6 hours to make let's see about 100 of those delightful morsels..I can even freeze the ones in the pan but they are so good we both dig in, even though my hubs never eats pork at all he loves these a lot so do I and they are really a lost art, made from scratch, but she only par boils the cabbage or a Ukrainian lady showed us you can freeze the cabbage and they come out great! Who would have thought of that but they do, her tomoato sauce is that with onions, garlic and thyme and rosemary, yummmmmeee~! They last for a good long while in the fridge and are a delight in our lives, it is a recipe she got from her 90 year old grandmother when she was 7 or 8 and has used it ever since..Thanks for providing the recipes most people never get to taste such a delight and to have this recipe is a bonus, happy fall and happy holidays!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
