Colorful Tin Candle Holder Lights Up The Room For Junkin Friday!

The use of bright colors is one of the reasons Mexican styled art is so appealing.

Artifacts made from brightly painted tin are hard to pass-up.  While perusing a favorite thrift store, Saver's, which benefits the organization Big Brothers, Big Sisters, I came across this Mexican wall mounted candle holder.

Some artist had fashioned pieces of tin together and painted it in bright, happy colors.

It's been adorning a kitchen window ever since. To date, kitchen curtains still have to be found so for the time being, this delightful piece of art will remain.

DO YOU LIKE MEXICAN STYLED ART?

Susan,
Your decorations are so eclectic. I never know what little beauty will show up on your blog. Years ago we were at a resort in Mexico with beautiful authentic art in a variety of media, but what I loved most was the paintings of wide bottomed native women who were shaped like me:)

How cheerful, Susan! Don't you love it when you come across something unexpected?

Well I don't think I'd have been too happy if squirrels ate my brownies, either! haha Glad you enjoyed the squirrel post!

Stay WARM! You're smart to stay by the fire. They say we are in for record low temps! brrrrrrrr.... Donna
