Communing With Nature

Sitting outside and soaking up sun and feeling a fresh breeze are the best natural medicines in the world.

Gazing up at towering green trees that have been around a few hundred years soothes the spirit.

Seeing the heavens at night, filled with blinking, shimmering stars, does the same thing.

Listening to twittering birds swing sweet melodies adds to peace in the soul.

One look at  blue skies, whispy white clouds, flowers in a rainbow of colors, and a carpet of velvet green grass, and worries seep out of one's mind and disappear.

Nature's pharmacy heals with a gentle touch.

May your day, today, be one in which you can get outside and commune with nature.

I hope you end the day with peace in your heart and a smile on your face.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT NATURE?

Oh Susan, it is miserable hot here!!! To get outside with pleasure, you have to go at 6 am which I do when I can. Even some early mornings are hot. Yesterday morning was a little freaky...at 6 it was cooler, misty, hazy...looked and felt just like autumn! Man, the weather here is just crazy...flowers are confused too...and Japanese beetles are ravaging them on top of heat. Your zinnias are lovely though!!!!

Hey Susan! I so agree with everything you have shared in this post. Weare back from communing with nature (the good and the bad) and have returned to the heat and dust. :/ Nepal was quite an experience to say the least. I look forward now to catching up with everyone. Best wishes, Tammy

I like to look at nature knowing I can come home to sleep in my wonderful bed. I'm not the camping type at all...love the ocean and the waves...it's so calming.
