Ready for Outdoor Dining

Hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day weekend.

With that in mind, I want to share something with you.

It's so much fun to eat outdoors once the weather warms up.

I love to cover the patio table with a nice cloth, set out lots of candles, and make everything look pretty.

This past Mother's Day, my daughter and son-in-law gave me this lovely pitcher, glasses, bowl, and tablecloth in the brightest, happiest magenta color!

The set makes me dream of dining outdoors. Every piece is so cheerful!

Now, I know my girl must have found all of these at the Christmas Tree Shops.

They have nice merchandise at affordable prices.

That's my kinda store!

What a nice Mother's Day gift these made and they will be useful all summer long.

I am very thankful!

WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU RECEIVED ON MOTHER'S DAY THAT YOU LOVE?

Such a bright and cheerful color! Yep, time for outdoors and before the heat again. Heading out for a deck tea with friends this morning...starting season right!

How colorful and beautiful. Now don't wait for a "special occasion" to use them (or maybe you don't do that--I often do and end up finding them a l-o-n-g time later).

Mother's Day was very low key for me. I carried in a couple of crock pots of food and we enjoyed the day with my mother and father, a sister and her family. Then, yesterday, I got to see our 11th and newest grandchild. What joy.

Very pretty! I love the pitcher! This reminds me that I need to clean off my back porch so that we can enjoy it before the weather gets too hot. Thanks for the inspiration!

How pretty, and how thoughtful. I too, enjoy eating outside on the patio. My favorite gift, a box of raspberry truffles, and the bracelt, and the jammies and well, seeing my kids and grandkids.
