Sweet Monday

Hello Sweet Blog Friends....

The pieces of stained glass shown in this post are now on our enclosed porch.

I must tell you, most probably I will be unable to visit too much this week since we are entertaining house  guests who are very important to my hubs.

They are his elderly sister and brother who flew in from Florida!

I am going to try to post daily but will  probably be unable to make too many visits.

There's a LOT of cooking to do and entertaining. Well, you know how it is when you have company.

But my blog peeps are very important to me so just want you to know, that if I don't stop by, it's not because I don't care about you.

It's because I'm zonked. ha ha ha

Happy Monday!

HOW DO YOU HANDLE DAILY COOKING WHEN YOU HAVE GUESTS?

I LOVE your stained glass! Wish I had even one piece like that. We have some old windows from my parents' home but they aren't as pretty.

Lovely stained glass pieces, Susan!

I try to do as many things ahead of time as possible when I know guests are coming. Every meal doesn't have to have "gourmet" stamped across it.:-) One thing I LOVE to do is a turkey breast in the slow cooker. I have even prepared a ham the same way! I try to stay away from those "one at a time" things like pancakes and waffles. Though they are good, everyone is waiting, and the one who is cooking is always last.

Enjoy your week with these precious family members. Time spent with them is invaluable.

Hi Susan! Well, arent' you sweet to let us all know that you'll be busy!

You have a great reason to pay attention to your guests and not the blog. Enjoy! I hope you have a great time with your family. I know I'll be here when you get back!

I love stained glass, so I love your pieces!

Listen and I mean this - don't worry - we all love you and know you love us. So taking a break and visiting with people you don't see often - well that is wonderful. And it is hard work taking care of others. So at least for me - don't worry.
