Bringing down my box of amber glass from the attic, unpacking and washing each piece in hot, sudsy water and letting every piece dry until it sparkles is one of the most pleasant things to do each fall.

Admittedly, it's hard to pass-up adding to the collection if I see a piece of amber glass at a yard sale or thrift shop during the year.

The glass shown in these photos is on three windowsills in the kitchen.
Amber jewelry is lovely, too, but that's a post for another day.

Your amber collection is beautiful. I bet it's almost like Christmas when you open the box each fall.
I do like amber glass - blue is my favorite - the cobalt blue - but I do like amber too - and you are right it is perfect for the season!
I love amber and your collection is gorgeous...and yes, perfect for the Autumn season! I just have amber Italian stems I always use come Tksgiving.

Your collection of amber glass is beautiful. I do have one piece of amber glass that I always put out in the fall. The color is warm and mellow, just like early Autumn in New England.
The weekend looks to be quite nice, so you should have ample sunshine to lite up your display. Enjoy them both.
I love amber glass! Your collection is amazing! I have several pieces but not as many as you. Mine is out now but needs a little bath to make it sparkle!!
