Gentle Roses


If anyone  needed proof  of a Creator, all I'd do is show him or her a rose.

 The incredible beauty of roses astounds. 

 Most flowers are beautiful, I think, but there's something extra special about roses.


They are intricate and exquisite yet simple and blissfully fragrant.


Oh my goodness, whenever I see roses, they seem to melt my heart.

 Two of the roses in this photo were taken at a roadside garden stand in Williamsburg, Massachusetts.

I will post more photos of this mini-trip in coming days so if you like to look at flower photos, come on back.

    I love when I come across a rose garden when I am out walking. The smell wonderful smell always greets me first. xo Laura

    I do love roses and always had rose gardens planted in the garden. The last 5 years, I have to laugh, because my Kelly once told me of all the flowers, she never liked roses and would prefer hydrangeas or a simple daisy!

    I have a yellow rose bush in my backyard that is just beautiful when it is in bloom. I also have mini rose bushes in yellow, pink and red. I love roses!

    What a bad friend I am - I was going to check this out sooner. Sorry - one thing led to another and I just forgot.

    I love all flowers - wish I was a better gardener - I think God is giving us a glimpse into Heaven.

    Roses are my favorite flowers. You are right, there is something extra special about them.

    I have 2 mini roses that made it thru the winter! They seem to be growing rapidly; cant' wait to see the blossoms. So much to look forward to in the spring garden!

    Hello from Spain: roses are my favorite flowers. I like their beauty and design. Roses are real masterpieces of nature. I like both pink and red. We keep in touch

    aahh, the rose.....it makes my heart sing every time I see one. What beautiful flowers these are, Susan. You really captured the beauty of the rose. The only flowers I have in my garden at the time are roses. :~)
