In Memory of Martin Luther King

Some people come into this world, never do a thing for anyone but themselves, and then go out.

Others work tirelessly for others, accomplish a lot and then leave this earth.

Martin Luther King was one of the latter.

His words of kindness and hope continue to inspire.

His message of love and non-violence is one we can all work to espouse.

Today, as we put out the American flag in his honor, I will think of him and remember.

DO YOU THINK IT IS POSSIBLE FOR THERE TO EVER BE AN END TO RACISM OF ANY KIND?

There will never be an end to racism or war...it's inevitable...We need more leaders like MLK Jr.

Tough question with a very uncertain answer. We can always hope.

What an amazing man!! He possessed such great wisdom! A champion for non-violence, unfortunately his life was taken by a totally unnecessary violent act! So very sad! - xoNellie
