Storm Is A-Brewing?

Weather forecasters are predicting snow this weekend.

Don't know whether it will be a full blown nor'easter or a dud. Time will tell.

In the meantime, hubs prepared the wood in the fireplace so a it's all ready for a nice, crackling fire.

Maybe I'll make some delicious soup.

There are no major plans to go out and about.

Actually, I love days when  staying blessedly at home is possible.

They make me smile like the little snowman shown in one of my all time favorite plates!

DO YOU LIKE AT-HOME DAYS?

I love staying home in January, preferably with snow. Today it is 60! But cold, rain, and snow are in the weekend forecast. Always a mix in Missouri!

Hello from Spain: I love being at home. I always enjoy the home. In my city does not snow any time of year. Keep in touch

Susan the older I get the more I enjoy staying at home days - I don't get many!

I do love "at home" days - especially if the weather isn't good. We've yet to have any snow here, and doubt there will be any this week-end.

Snow expected this weekend could amount to a dusting or a covering. We never know, because I don't think the pros even do. Sweet smile on that little snow buddy.

I love at-home days, but I usually get out once or twice a day. Your crackling fire sounds so wonderful. When we downsized to our smaller home, it didn't have a fireplace and we still have to put one in. I really miss those on cold winter days.

I adore stay at home days, and in fact I am going to have one today. :) Starting with coffee and english muffins. Lots of great puttering about the house. You have a great day! Kit

One stay at home day a week is a treat for me that sometimes happens, but after one day I want to go out and about, at a minimum to buy fruit and vegetables or exercise. But the day home is a treat. Stay cozy.
