Simple Vignettes

Vignettes in every room of a house add to its ambiance.

In one of our rooms, a very simple little vignette, using old objects, is still pretty.

My sister, Barb, painted the little pink rose that I framed.

There's a lovely gold framed mirror that I got for $10.00 in a Family Dollar store.

The bouquet of roses is as old as the hills but I still love it.

Put them into a white tea pot I got on clearance from Home Goods.

I purchased the bouquet of roses in a Christmas Tree Shop many years ago.

So there you have it......a nice vignette that didn't drain the wallet.

DO YOU DECORATE BY MAKING VIGNETTES?

  1. Stunning!

I suppose I do make them, in a way, little bursts of color and whimsy everywhere. :)

  2. I guess I do too but I don't know if I can actually call them vignettes. But I do have some decorations like that.

  3. I like creating vignettes around my home too. And I love the word itself 'vignettes'.

    Lovely post, Susan!

    Happy weekend,

  6. I all into making Vignettes too, especially at Christmas. I agree they give a certain ambiance to each room. That golden frame next to the pretty flowers is divine.
