Breckenridge, Colorado---A Town to Remember

While on vacation this summer in Colorado, we had the opportunity to travel to the mountain town of Breckenridge.

This was a truly quaint and lovely town that made one think about being in a village in the Alps.

Walking through the downtown in summer was like taking a stroll through a kind of paradise.

There were flowers everywhere----hanging arrangements, window boxes and in containers all along the streets.

There was so much beauty and fragrance!

Talk about a fabulous place to visit, Breckenridge qualifies.

HAVE YOU EVER TRAVELED TO COLORADO?

  1. I went to Colorado once when I lived in Chicago - I worked for United and went on a fam trip. It was in spring because they wanted to advocate that it was more than a ski town and more than just winter.

Your photos are just gorgeous - love the hanging baskets.

  5. The company I'm licensed with is in Evergreen and I've had fun exploring when I go there. Also, my Kelly went to grad school at Colorado State, so it's one of our favorite states. What a beautiful time you had!

  6. Sounds and looks like a lovely place. Reminds me of places I've been to in the Black Forest of Germany. I've never been to Colorado but would love to someday.

  9. My husband and I traveled to Colorado to attend our nephew's wedding several years ago. We stayed at a wonderful hotel in Steam Boat Springs. The wedding was fabulous with a live band playing so many great songs. The following day we took a road trip down to the Grand Canyon. It was a very enjoyable trip. We had great accommodations at the Canyon; we stayed in a quaint cabin that was only about 40 feet from the rim of the canyon! Glad we aren't sleepwalkers!
It was October and the weather was perfect; sunny skies and temps in the 70's. We have very fond memories of our visit to beautiful Colorado.

Breckenridge looks so lovely with all the flowers. Sounds like you had a great time.
