Table Setting in Miniature....

Regular readers of this blog know that one of my all time favorite hobbies is dollhouse miniatures.

A couple of years ago, while traveling in Colorado, I shopped at Norm's Dollhouse.

I bought a beautiful set of tiny rose-themed dishes and minuscule pink glasses!

When I got my late mother's curio cabinet, one of the shelves seemed like the perfect place for a miniature scene.

It has a mirrored background so everything looks double!

My regular dollhouse is charming but not very big.

So today, I am so happy to share my dining room table in miniature.

And just in time for the Christmas holidays, I added a little cabinet filled with a tiny Santa collection.

I made the lacy tablecloth.

Looks like the  dollhouse residents will enjoy some fine dining coming Christmas this year.

DO YOU ENJOY SEEING THINGS IN MINIATURE?

So sweet. It's amazing these days what people are able to make in miniature.

These are such pretty little vignettes on the shelves. Must be fun to set this stuff up.

At first glance, I thought that was a full size dining room table! Such a pretty "little" collection. :)

Okay if you didn't tell anyone - I would have thought that was an adult tablescape and a beautiful one at that!

Oh Susan, Jess loves all things miniature. I enjoyed seeing all your miniature things. The tea set is darling, and the little candelabras are something else hehehe. Your mother's curio cabinet is special, indeed.

There's something so appealing and sweet about miniatures. I could easily get into collecting them but have so far resisted that temptation. :)
