Be a Light in the World

While snapping photos in the back yard the other day,  I took one of the sun coming through the trees.

It's the photo at the top of this post.

Light is so welcome, especially after several dark weather days in a row.

That made me think how important it is to BE a light in the world.

There is so much trouble, sorrow and difficulty in the world.

If we can be lights in the darkness to someone going through a health crisis,or an otherwise challenging, hard time, it can make a huge difference.

Today, be a light!

DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN SOMEONE WAS A LIGHT TO YOU?

So many people are lights to me right now. It is easier to stand tall when on the shoulders of another. You are one of those shoulders...and thank you!!!!

Even the simple gesture of stopping to let me cross the road while I am out for a walk is enough to bring light to my day. Pedestrians are not given the right of way in this country and not everyone takes the time to think of others.

Yes, the woman I had tea and scones with the other day has been a light for me.

Thanks for being a light in the blog world, Susan.

Have a lovely Sunday.

That is a lovely photo with the sunbeams shining through. Sometimes it is a friend, sometimes a family member with a word or different perspective that brightens and sheds light on a situation I'm facing.
