The living room pink fireplace mantel has a new look this Christmas.
Several years ago at a yard sale, I bought a box of little ceramic buildings but never used them.
This was the year they came out of their box in the attic.
A mini-village amid faux greens and white lights now line the mantel.
There are a few tiny figures there, too.
It's not extravagant, by any means, but it's a cute "walk" through a town-of-sorts at Christmas time.
Here is a peek at our pink and gold Christmas tree:
DO YOU CHANGE DECOR FROM YEAR TO YEAR OR STICK WITH EVERYTHING FAMILIAR?

Susan I just LOVE your village and glad you brought it out! So beautiful.

I don't have a mantel on my fireplace. I use the same decorations every year. So pretty to see yours.
ReplyDeleteMy friend used to change her tree decor each year. Rose once had a pink and gold tree, and your beauty reminds me of my dear, late friend. Merry Christmas. Stop by and see my HONEY.
ReplyDeleteI love your village! It suits your mantel perfectly. And your tree is sooooo pretty. I used to use the same decorations but then last year I decided to just put out what I absolutely loved and this year I put items in new places and it felt great. Merry Christmas! :) Kit
ReplyDeletehow charming. i love your village. it's lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour pink and gold tree looks so pretty through the window, Susan. I usually put out Christmas stuff from the past, and I'll buy a few new things when I'm out and they say "take me home" haha. Your home looks so lovely for the holidays.
