Someone wrote an article noting that pretty brooches should not remain hidden in a drawer.
The person suggested pinning them to a pillow and displaying them.
Sounded like a really good idea so, into the "brooch drawer" I went and took out all the brooches.
Pinned them all on a little pillow and then put it on the bed.
Love it!

Oh, how lovely. As I get older I find I like to see my things around me. What a charming idea. You have some beautiful brooches. My favorite is the silver on with the pearl teardrop.

ReplyDeleteHi Susan, oh your pillow is lovely. As a child, my sis and I loved to play at my grandmothers dressing table and enjoyed her brooches. I have several of hers, my mothers and some of my own,
ReplyDeleteA very funny memory.....I had an elderly aunt and for Christmas one year, I chose a brooch to gift her. It was displayed in a small white box. She thanked me profusely. A few minutes later, I went to her restroom, stacked in a corner, HIGHER THANY MY HEAD, we’re little white boxes full of brooches!!! Lol
