(This flashing skeleton head is really a child's bracelet.)
Last year, the making of a Halloween haunted house was great fun.
There was lots of spraying black paint in the backyard onto a granddaughter's outgrown dollhouse that sported numerous bright colors.
There was rounding up of spooky figures, most from the dollar store, and clipping pictures of skeletons from gift catalogs for wall decor.
The house was a great success so this year, it meant up to the attic to retrieve it.
Once again, it's drawing smiles and enthusiasm from visitors of all ages.
Sometimes one just needs to have a little fun.
HAVE YOU EVER MADE A HALLOWEEN DOLLHOUSE?

That is soooooooooooooooooooooo cute! I bet the grands just love that.
ReplyDeleteI saw it last year Susan. I remember the skeleton wrist band....The kids will love it again.
ReplyDeleteHow cute, Susan! I’m sure it’s a hit with children of all ages!

ReplyDeleteThat was so clever of you to make a Halloween dollhouse out of your granddaughter's old dollhouse. And the spray paint makes it look like the haunted mansion from Disney. I bet your grandchildren love to look at it and even the grown ups. I like that flashing skeleton. The Dollar Store is a great place to find this and that for the dollhouses you have. What a fun project this was for you, Susan.

What a great idea. You could charge to have people come to your haunted house. Don;t have to say what size. Donate money to charity.
ReplyDeleteHow cute. I never had a doll house but I adore all the miniature items available these days.
ReplyDeleteNice blog post
