The little fellow in red, shown in today's post, has a Merry Christmas sign on his chest.
In reality, he looks more pooped out than peaceful.
I feel the same way.
The "to do" lists are made, many items daily get eventually crossed off , but the list rarely gets completed.
The Christmas season should not get so busy that one has to practice deep breathing (like I'm doing a lot these days.)
It should be more slowed down, focused on the Baby Jesus, and love but how to achieve those three things remain a mystery.
HOPE YOUR DAY TODAY IS ALL YOU WANT IT TO BE, INCLUDING PEACEFUL. (HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL.)
Just take deep breaths and do one thing at a time. Do not stress over lists. What you can do you will do and that is enough. Enjoy the season and may baby Jesus bring you comfort, hope and peace.
ReplyDeleteI think when people get frazzled around Christmastime, maybe they are doing too much. You are genuinely a wonderful person, Susan, filled with peaceful and loving thoughts, so just slow down, have a cup of tea, maybe a goody, and gaze at that beautiful tree. It looks like there's a lot of pink on the tree, which really reflects who you are.
ReplyDeleteHave a merry Christmas week, dear friend.

ReplyDeleteI wish you a blessed and very Merry Christmas, dear Susan.
