The Magic of Water

There is definitely magic in water.

That goes for people as well as for plants.

The pink petunia that hangs outside the apartment looked dead.

Her pink flowers had shriveled and her leaves look dry as a bone.

The hot weather we are experiencing dries out flowers faster than one can imagine.

Soooooo. with a heart filled with hope, I filled a big, pink plastic glass with water, went out, and watered petunia.

As a matter of fact, I gave poured in two glasses!

Voila! Within a short time, she was alive again.

Perky pink blossoms fill her container.

Yes, there is, indeed, magic in water.

It brings life.

The hot weather has been awful. I am glad you were able to revive the petunias. So pretty. It seems it is always something in gardens. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

Your petunias are pretty as ever, Susan. My mini roses seem to drink up the water fast in this heat. But it's nice to go out there in the early mornings and water them. I like that strip of grass outside your home too. It's so green and groomed.

I hope you are doing well.

Petunias are definitely flowers that require a lot of water. I have even found that water sometimes is not enough...They need a good dose of plant food as well. Glad you were able to restore it back to happiness.

Water is so precious. I'm so happy your pretty pink petunias were so easily revived. The intense heat is hard on life. Thank God for the gift of water. Happy Friday, Susan.

Because we do not get rain or many months now I have my sprinklers on and have to make sure all plants outdoors get watered.
