A Visit to Avery House in Fort Collins, Colorado

If Victorian houses and spooky historical facts are your jam, you would have loved a tour of the Avery House toward the end of October of this year.

The house is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. On the tour mentioned,  the black dress-clad tour guide related the history of the home built in 1879.

She included lots of information on Halloween traditions and how they evolved. Participants were led through rooms on both floors of the homestread.

There's a swoon-worthy dollhouse in a little girl's room on the second floor of Avery House.

An art piece, comprised of human hair, drew quite a few curious onlookers.

Apparently, there are many tours of the home offered throughout the year.
