Cherish Every Moment

Here's hoping your day will be filled with good things including peace and lots of reasons to smile.

The cross pictured in today's post is on the altar of St. Kilian's, a truly beautiful Roman Catholic church in Mission Viejo, California.

While the altar is quite gorgeous, the spirit of the people and priests at St. Kilian's are also something to remember forever.

There is a warm feeling of happiness there.

Mass is a joyful time of giving thanks to Almighty God.

Whenever I travel to California, it is a must to go to worship the Lord at St. Kilian's, as many times as possible.

I hope you have a truly memorable day!

What a beautiful painting, Susan. I'm glad you got to spend some time at this church while visiting your sister in California. Some of these churches are very old, and have been built when the towns were founded. The church in my hometown is very old, and it's such a special moment when I go back there and visit. Always appreciate your Sunday posts, dear friend.

That's my church. I love it and have been a member since 1979. The old church was torn down and this new one is about 8 years old now. I am a member of the choir there and we have over 46 ministries. Glad you had the chance to go to St. Kilian's.
