Crows are apparently drawn to sparkling things, too.
I thought that was pretty funny.
For Valentine's Day this year, lacy pink paper hearts hung in the front window as well as a very sparkly pink heart that was soooo pretty. After the day of love passed, and the paper lacy hearts came down and it was time to pack away the pink sparkly heart.
But why? It's soooo pretty. Why pack it in a dark tote until next year?
So I tucked it in a bowl holding a Christmas cactus on a table in the living room.
It looks adorable.
One can never really have enough sparkling pink hearts, right?
DO YOU LIKE TO RE-PURPOSE THINGS?

That sparkly Pink heart is so pretty. I can see why you kept it out after the day of love. Pink can be a good decorating color in the Spring too. I still have a heart ornament hanging from my china hutch that says Be Still And Know That I Am God. It will probably stay up for a while. We keep things out that mean so much to us and bring a smile to our hearts, don't we?

Too pretty to put away, that's for sure. I repurpose everything that I can. Found a small reusable Harrod's tote bag on top of someone's trashcan the other day, and inside was a heart banner with fluffy paper bits in between. I will hang it downstairs in our parking area. Waste not, want not.
Love your pink sparkly heart . I put my decorations for Valentine's day away. Now I have my Easter ones about to come out...maybe this weekend. Lent starts tomorrow. Enjoy your day.
I am not at all surprised to see this sparkly heart in your bowl. First of all, it is Pink and second, it sparkles..This is so you Susan. It is the simple things that really brings happiness...love it!!
I’d keep it out as well. It’s pretty, sparkly and it makes you happy!
