Last weekend's surprise happens to be lovely dollhouse.
A couple of faithful followers had already guess it!
Found at an estate sale that took place in a huge, glorious Victorian home, the dollhouse has been made by hand.
Currently it's yellow but one day it will be light pink.It needs a thorough dusting and cleaning.
Some things must be repaired, like the chipped chimney.
The dollhouse will be a wonderful winter project.
It is completely lighted and has incredible potential.
My daughter purchased it.
She and her husband hauled my old pink dollhouse away and put this one in its place.
(I can pay her back little by little.)
What a find it is!
One day, it will be totally beautiful again.
So far, I have managed to polish the brass bed.
For a few decades of life, a splendorous brass bed stood in the master bedroom.
After my husband died, with a heavy heart, I sold that bed.
Now, I have another one, albeit in miniature!
See? We never know when little miracles will come into our lives.
HAVE YOU HAD ANY MINI-MIRACLES LATELY? IF YES, CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT ONE OF THEM?

It's a miracle just to wake up in the morning when you are in your 80s . I have had many miracles in my life and I do believe in them. So happy you have a new dollhouse to care for and restore this winter.
Oh, Susan, that is so cute! I love dollhouses and all things miniature. As for mini-miracles = every day I wake up in good health. Blessings!
What a wonderful dollhouse Susan! And I actually like the soft yellow color. You will have so many fun moments putting this charming little house together and decorating the rooms. I think that brass bed was meant just for you. I like the year on the chimney. That is a favorite year in my family.
**I was at DMV taking care of car stuff, and I thought I brought all the documents that were needed, but they asked for another one as well. Turns out, one of the papers was in my car, and I didn't have to go home and come back again. It was a long process, but was taken care of that morning. The lady was helpful. And the Lord was watching over me.
how beautiful. I just knew this is what it was and I am so thrilled for you. so sweet of your daughter to make the purchase..now, have fun fixing it up!
Cool dollhouse. I see a lot of this retro stuff on the History Channel's "Pawn Stars" series, someone brought in a retro TV show Batman batcave dollhouse which was unique. I experienced a miracle over the last days, I was flying out of the Qatar airport to SeaTac. The day after arrival in the States, I saw on the news that Israel decided to do missile strikes on Qatar, grounded flights would have left me stuck there. I dodged a bullet {or missile} by just one day...international travel is a trainwreck so I'm immensely thankful,
Amen to that, there are no coincidences in life.
