Winter in New England is usually hard and long.
It's only January so we have several more months of weather that often feels unwelcome and difficult.
A friend told me today she was already "sick of winter."
Well, we have quite a few more months of it to go so it's probably wise to just make the most of it.
I'm more vigilent to avoid falling, especially if there's ice.
If there is a bad snowstorm, I stay blessedly home and don't venture out until it passes.
Today, it's raining which is better than snowing, unless temps drop and it turns to ice.
Wherever you are, I hope you have a good day, despite the weather!
WHAT DO YOU DO TO BEAT THE WINTER BLUES?

I love winte snowstorms. Not fond of ice though. I read a lot in winter.
Well it’s been over 70 degrees for the last ten days where I live so no winter blues for me. No ice no snow and no rain . I’d be a hermit if I lived in a cold climate. I like it warm all year round. Play happy music to best the blues.
I like to have at least a semi schedule on days I'd rather slip into couch potato mode. Breakfast. Then housework. Watch a bit of news. Lunch. Afternoon crafting and get early start on supper. Otherwise I'd be on couch with a book all day
I really like winter, and it's actually a favorite season up here. I love when we have a snowfall. I know it's harder to drive in when there are places we have to go, but I try to stock up with food and essentials, which makes it easier for sure. There's the shoveling of snow, which is hard on the back after, but I do love to be out there with the white fluff and the neighbors. In my hometown where I grew up we did not get snow, so this has been a neat experience for me. But I'm sure you've had snow longer than me, and you still have a great attitude about winter, Susan.....just make the most of it and try to avoid slipping and falling in that snow. Very wise words, indeed. I like your ceramic snowmen. ; )
