Some public places, such as beauty salons and tax services, have small bowls of candy on desks for clients.
In one office, the secretary told me to help myself to any candies desired.
I selected one small heart-shaped piece of Dove chocolate.
Inside the foil wrapper came a treat even more special than the candy.
There was a saying there that really made me smile and think.
It read, "Laugh until your heart overflows."

Our little 19 month old grandson is learning to talk. At his little "Mother's Day Out" school, they recently had some chickens there for the kids to see. He did not like them at all and now he goes around saying "Boc, Boc, No". It makes me laugh to hear him say this. Life is fun!
ReplyDeleteThe dialogue in a recent musical I saw was very funny at times and I got some good laughs in. I love to see live shows and I wasn't disappointed at all . Great production.
ReplyDeleteOh, I always have those laugh attacks with the grandgirls, but my own kids make me laugh often with some of the things they say. This was a delightful saying you opened up in the Dove chocolate piece. I love Dove, by the way. I didn't know they have heart-shaped pieces too. Have a sweet day, Susan.
ReplyDeleteThis reminded me that about a hundred years ago I kept a candy dish on my desk at work. I had totally forgotten about that! Had a good laugh with hubby last evening over something we were watching on TV. Always feels good to laugh together.
ReplyDeleteI can’t remember er what caused me to laugh but my daughter and I really cracked up about it! I like listening to Jimmy Kimmel. He makes me laugh every nite. He ranks on our president.
