Ready for the Next Snowfall

The pretty little lady in today's post is all ready for snow.

Her red coat has white, puffy cuffs at the wrists, and on the bottom as well as on the edge of her hat and at her collar.

She has long, golden curls and big, beautiful brown eyes.

She is one of the dolls that has escaped being sold or given away.

She now stands inside my late grandmother's hutch, looking through one of the glass cabinet fronts.

The doll collection was once very large and loved.

However, after several moves, ending in a small apartment, there just is no room for a large number of dolls.

They have been among the most difficult of my possessions to give up.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION OF DOLLS?  DID YOU HAVE A FAVORITE ONE WHEN YOU WERE A LITTLE PERSON?

  1. Not a fan of dolls, the only ones I had as a kid were Barbie, Midge and Skipper back in the late sixties. I wish I'd kept them, vintage Barbies fetch huge prices at auction. Others give me the creeps, I always think of Chucky and Annabelle...nope.
