Fresh air filled the rooms of the apartment yesterday when temps outside warmed up.
Windows were opened for the first time since November and the fresh air felt wonderful.
With the short respite from wintery weather came thoughts of spring and Easter which comes early this year.
It's going to be celebrated on April 5.
With all this in mind, there has been a little poking around in plastic bins for Easter decor.
First to go up will be the little bunny plaque.
He's surrounded by lilacs and just the thought of those gorgeous blooms with their intoxicating fragrance makes the heart sing.
The cheerful holiday rug with the adorable animal figures is already out, right in front of the door as one walks in.
It's a sure smile-maker.
Isn't it totally adorable?
Here's to the end of ol' man winter and the hurry-up-and-come shout-outs to spring!

Very cute decorations Susan. I have not started to put anything up yet in my house. Enjoy the things you have saved. Happy Spring!
All so very cheerful! Bring on spring!
Your bunny plaque with the lilacs is cute, Susan, and I love purple at Eastertime. How fun to be able to go in your bins and find something new to put up. I don't have a whole lot of Easter stuff, but what I have, I like. We are still in winter, and when I got in my car this morning, it was very cooold. Have a terrific March week!
It's not going to be a happy spring or Easter when gas goes over $5/gallon...pray for peace.
