When the sun peeks out, and spreads golden light over everything, it's good for the soul.
It immediently brings a smile to my face when I look out the window and see that the sun is out.
In this area of the country, there are many, many gray days.
So when the sun appears, it's cause for great celebration.
Of course, there's lots of rain at this time of year, too.
More than anything, I'd love to put a few flowering plants in the tiny strip of grass in front of this apartment. But nope, I'm not going to do that just yet. It's too early.
Snow has been known to fall even late into spring and I'd never want to jeopardize a flowering plant's tender life.
Guess what the forecast is for tomorrow? "Heavy rain."
Well, they say that "into each life, some rain must fall," so we'll just have to deal with it and hope for the sun's appearance the next day.

We need rain too, a light drizzle is falling here today and watering my garden, the soil was already quite dry and this rain today is a real gift for my plants, but it's not good when there's too much rain
Great looking place! Now, you just need a bunch of people there playing bluegrass music.
We had raln which was welcomed as we needed it over the weekend. Today the sun is back out and we will be warming up for the weekend. I love where I live. Pretty green pictures Susan.
Hello Susan, your photos are beautiful and captivating. Thank you so much for sharing, and warm greetings from a retired lady living in Montreal, Canada ❤️ 😊 🇨🇦
Glad you got a little sunshine and some good 'ole vitamin D. Everything looks so green and pretty after all that rain. We've had a lot of rain also, but the sun is shining today. Yes, I would wait a bit to plant some flowers. We are known to get rain and even snow until April or May. ; ) Have a beautiful week, Susan.
Waiting until the end of May. That always works here in the north!
WE are getting lots of rain these days....I guess it's true.."April showers bring May flowers." How beautiful it is to see the green grass with shadows from the tree branches falling upon it.
