A day rarely goes by that does not call for earrings
Wearing them is just a natural part of each day.
There is no real gold or silver among the stash but just dozens upon dozens of costume jewelry-type earrings.
Some are gahgah sparklers while others are conservative gold-plated rings.
There are many pairs of old earrings in the drawers, too.
They came from aunts who are now on the other side of life.
There are earrings of every color, size, shape, and decoration. Not only have I purchased a large part of the collection but friends and family members have gifted me with untold numbers of earrings, too.
They know how much I love to wear them.
A very dear friend, who is like a daughter to me, recently gave me a gorgeous pair, (see photo at top of today's post), that she bought for me plus three extra pairs that came in a jewelry box she purchased.
Yowsers. Looking at the earrings stash sometimes makes a little guilt fill my head but then I ask myself, "Can there ever be enough earrings?"
Guess what my answer is?
DO YOU LIKE TO WEAR EARRINGS?

Well earrings are the only jewelry I ever wear. I like them to be very light weight though and I like the kind that clips on itself so I don't have to bother with earring backs. Enjoy your collection !
ReplyDeleteIf they're not gold, the only thing I ever got from earrings was itchy, red, runny ears.
ReplyDeletewow...magic:)) HUG
ReplyDeleteI am drawn to your earrings today, Susan, because I am an earring lover too. But I only wear them on special occasions, and wear small diamond studs every day. Those first pair of earrings look like you, so pretty. Love the blue colors too. The second pair look a bit European, and very different and lovely. A thoughtful gift from your friend, and she knows just what you like!
