As progress continues on going through plastic totes that have been in storage, lovely dolls that have been part of a large collection are found.
Most of them will probably be sold or given away to little girls who love dolls.
Others will go to thrift stores, although that part will break a heart that truly loves dolls.
The outfit got soaked in laundry detergent and hydrogen peroxide to turn yellowed lace back to white. It worked!
To a doll lover, dolls are like sweet friends who add to the preciousness of life.

ReplyDeleteShe is so pretty, Susan. And she has such an attractive face. I like her hair swooped up like that. I'm glad the detergent and peroxide worked to get the lace looking white again. You found her in the plastic tote, and she is with you once again! I am such a doll lover too. I never had a childhood collection of anything growing up, just one of that special something that I loved, like a Barbie or Troll. But I still have them to this day. ; )
