Bring a Little Somethin'

Whenever a visit to someone in a nursing home is planned, I never go empty-handed.

It takes so little effort to bring a little treat.

This past weekend, two sweetie pies received blueberry muffins.

The treats came wrapped in transparent wrap and were tied with orange ribbons.

Because there had been no time to bake, the muffins came from a supermarket bakery.

While it's sure they tasted less delicious than homemade, at least they came with lots of love.

And while riding to and from the visit, the eyes kept seeing lovely images.

It's so wonderful that fall is not over yet.

Here's to a good week for all!

  1. Trader Joes has delicious muffins of any kind that are just like homemade. I like any flavor I get there. It was sweet of you to wrap your treat with an orange ribbon. I'm sure the recipients enjoyed them. Have a great week ahead.

  2. The blueberry muffins are a thoughtful gift to give that special someone in the nursing home. And you wrapped them so pretty with transparent wrap and orange ribbons for fall. We still have lots of autumn left here too, and I'm glad you are still enjoying it as well, Susan. Have a good last week of October.

  3. Das Wichtigste ist doch, dass man an eine Kleinigkeit gedacht hat. Auch wenn die Muffins nicht selbst gebacken waren, haben sie Freude gebracht.
    Viele Grüße Anette
