The hot, sticky days of summer and some of autumn, seem to be officially over.
This morning, frost covered the windshield and top of my old car.
It's nippy.
Of course, temps always warm up by noon and early afternoon is ditch the jacket time.
Then, around suppertime, temps drop down to chilly once again.
That's fall in New England.
May this Sunday bring you many reasons to smile.
The sun is shining, skies are blue, and many free hours are ours until bedtime.
The glass decoration at the top of this post is extra special as it was the last gift my biological mother gave to me before she died.
She was always thinking of others with gifts and cards.
I miss her.
Happy Sunday to all!

Happy Sunday Susan,
ReplyDeleteFall is finally here in So Cal. It’s cooler now during the days and nights too. We’ve even had some rain. You’ve a very pretty piece of crystal from Mom. I love it. She loved crystal so much.
Your weather is very similar to ours here, Susan. But we don't really have frost yet. What a pretty item your mother gave you, and I know it's very special to you. She sounds a lot like you, always giving little gifts to make others happy. It really is a generous and wonderful thing to do. Have a peaceful Sunday, dear Susan.
ReplyDeleteWe are still hovering at 80 and will be for the next couple weeks. Sundays are lazy days.
ReplyDeleteSounds just like fall in my native Olympia Wa. Here in Saudi we really don't have seasons, it's like a 10 month summer and a 2 month winter. It's great for gardening, I miss fall/spring in the states when I'm not there, winter not so much. Beautiful crystal, I don't think any of us get over mom's passing no matter how old we are.
