I don't crochet, but I have a lace tablecloth that my grandmother gave us as a wedding gift almost 4 decades ago. The handwritten cards are beautiful, Susan. My schedule of activities that took a break for the busy holiday season, will pick back up, and I will be out and about more often! We so often take it for granted, not realizing that we never know how long we have left on this earth, no matter what our age. Sometimes I don't even like to wish that summer were here, because I don't know what is going to happen between now and summertime.

Getting out and about, even day trips in the winter, and little white lights in the house are a couple ways I combat the winter. Right now, though, I'm enjoying our bright sunshine. I'm hoping to keep up a good attitude throughout January. :-)Cranberry Morninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10758563068581561194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-925673616741434546.post-10419548883814009522016-01-05T08:50:48.288-08:002016-01-05T08:50:48.288-08:00The flower in your photo is one way to beat them. ...The flower in your photo is one way to beat them. I have to be honest - we don't get as much of a down - USUALLY - as people in the north do. Although I am not sure about this year. It has been weird! More time for being home and enjoying the inside pleasures of a winter day.

The short days are a bit hard to take, but we have passed the equinox and the days are getting longer, if only just a wee bit. Abundant blue skies and plenty of sun are things to be thankful for today. mariannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-925673616741434546.post-68158419299465941292016-01-05T06:49:15.517-08:002016-01-05T06:49:15.517-08:00Winter is a time to rest and renew. It is early spring when my blues are hardest to handle. When I am done with winter and and the spring isn't fully here yet I feel trapped between the seasons.Bookiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12043111213031211794noreply@blogger.com
