Around here, we stretch holidays to the max. Decorations are put up early and taken down late.
These decorations brighten up a section of the front porch:
Ol' Peter Rabbit is no longer lurking in Farmer McGregor's garden. He's here, on the porch, greeting visitors. See a couple of Farmer McGregor's carrots in his pockets?
These are a couple of signs outside:
This sweet bunny wreath, hand-painted by my sister, greets guests with buoyancy and a smile.

ReplyDeleteHey Susan
ReplyDeleteThe porch looks grand! I haven't started to get our decorations out. Maybe next weekend...

Hi Susan, hope you are having a fantastic Friday. Your lunch sounds good too. When we got back from baseball, I had a falafel sandwich with homemade pickles and tahini sauce. Yum! Right now my throat is a itchy and I feel not quite right. Maybe dealing with all the dirt and dust out on my balconies has something to do with it. Your Easter decor is so cute. And talk about stretching out the holidays -- a friend is taking me out for a belated birthday lunch ... my birthday. Ha! It goes on forever it seems. :) We will go back to the same Lebanese restaurant I took Leslie to last week. No one else has been there but me. Great food, so why not. I'm game to try something else on the menu. I'll send you an email with my aunt's address. Thanks for offering to send her a card. Since I haven't gotten her package together yet, you could at least let her know something is coming. I'll write to you tomorrow but think I am gonna head to bed now. It's only 9:30 pm but I feel soooo tired. Til tomorrow ... best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteThis is inspiring, Susan! I don't do a WHOLE lot out front...I have an Easter flag that I hang from the flag rod on the shelf Gary made. I've always wanted to hang some Easter eggs on a small birch tree beside the front porch, but never seem to get it done. Probably won't again this year. (For one thing, I'm not sure how to do it so that they stay up!)
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteI just love all of your darling Easter Decorations!! I too LOVE to decorate for all Holidays!!
Hugs,
Debbie
You should hire out as front porch decorator. Cute items; I can feel the spring air.
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to take a trip to the craft store and get some things to spruce up my home. Xoxoxolove. Baberoni
