The Fragrance of These Flowers Fills the Room and Hearts!

Joining Dayle's Simple Pleasures from A Collection of This and That.

Stargazer lilies are highly fragrant.

Two or three stems can fill a room with a soft, sweet scent.

A friend who's a music teacher received a bouquet of flowers from her students and generously shared them with our family.

Among the flowers in the bouquet were carnations, daisies, and several beloved stargazers.

For many days now, our kitchen has smelled divine, thanks to the lilies.

Even the name is enchanting, isn't it?  Stargazers.

They are among the most exquisite of simple pleasures.

ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH STARGAZER LILIES?

  4. I was given two plants for my birthday. They are awesome. This year I put them in the back with all my other regular dayliles. I am excited to see how everything looks this year because I dug up the whole bed and replanted.
