"Bean Town," also known as Boston, has an amazing array of buildings, historical places to visit, flowers, restaurants, offices, and people!
This post has some random photos snapped in and around Boston, in no particular order.
This is a highly unique sculpture on an apartment balcony. Wonder if he comes inside when it rains.

Attention Sam Adams beer fans----here's a statue of old Sam, himself!
HAVE YOU BEEN TO BOSTON? IF NOT, WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO?
We were in Boston. It was 2002 right after our daughters were married and just before school started. John had a business trip and we decided to tag along. Abbey was 11 and our grandson was 5. We had the best time. While John worked, the kids and I toured. We went to see the USS Constitution, A science Museum and even had a burger at the Cheers pub. Loved the public transit too. It was a fun filled few days.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I was in Boston in April. I loved the little bit I saw. It was fun to see the duck statues in the public gardens, based on the book Make Room for Ducklings. I was there for a conference.
ReplyDeleteSusan I have never been to Boston and yes I would love to go. My son lived there for one year doing a sub fellowship. He loved a lot about it - but not the parking - I don't think he took his car out for the year he was there. He walked to Children's from his apartment.
ReplyDeleteLoved your pictures.
Very good photos seeing they were taken on the run from inside a car Susan!I thought those finger and toe nails were the pizazz!
ReplyDeleteA friend here moved back to the Boston area last year. She loves it there. Hello Sam Adams. I'll take a nice cold beer, please! :) Have a great day. Tammy

ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteI did go to Boston with my sister once about 20 years ago and really enjoyed it.We took a bus tour of the city where they give you the history of the city as you drive. I love the architecture of the old buildings.
Hope you enjoyed your visit too.
Carolyn
