WEDNESDAY: Clouds Add Beauty to Our Lives

When we were little kids, we'd lay back in the grass and stare at the clouds in the sky. Then we'd try to see forms in the fluffy layers.

" I see an old man's face," one of us would yell.

"Look, over there, there's a witch."

"I see an ice cream sundae with lots of cream on top."

Now,as an adult, whenever white, cottony clouds are out, they lift up my spirits.  Sometimes, the old man's face shows up but, more often than not, I just like to see the clouds floating softly across the blue sky.

DID YOU USED TO LOOK FOR IMAGES IN THE CLOUDS?

  4. Lovely photos... I never really "looked for" cloud images, but I've seen many... I'd look up and they were just there...

  7. The clouds are just one of the nuggets God sends me each and every day. They are beautiful in shape and color. Your post is lovely on the eyes.

  8. I swear, Susan, you and I grew up together!! At least in our souls....Kindred Spirits. I used to do the exact same thing. AND I'm happy to say that I still always notice the clouds, whether they're white and puffy, fluffy, streaky, or ominous and dark. In fact, I JUST took some pictures the other day of some dark clouds. I'll post them sometime soon. Hugs to you, dear friend!
