The sun is hiding somewhere, deep within the clouds.
Birds are still singing, despite the grayness of the day.
So must we continue to sing, even when the grayness of life arrives.
So must we continue to sing, even when the grayness of life arrives.
Overcast skies are a reminder of life.
It cannot always be sunny. Clouds of discouragement and disappointment come and go
But, like the singing of the birds, life goes on.
The sun will come out again, just as good times will be sure to return.
In the meantime, there's beauty even in overcast skies, if we only look for it.
DO YOU FIND SOLACE IN NATURE?

Stunning shots dear!
I always enjoy my time here...on your very creative space. Thanks again for sharing.
Hope to see you on my blog:)

Susan, your post and photos challenge me to find more solace in nature. I tell myself there isn't anything particularly nature-ful around here. (I wish I could walk out of my house and see rivers, lake, mountain, or forest.) I DO enjoy our yard, but wish I had more features such as you photographed nearby....
I could sit there with a mug of coffee and enjoy for sure. Quiet is so good--love your post.
Nature has always been my church. I feel so close to God when letting it surround me. An overcast day has a certain beauty in the light it creates. Lovely photos and words.
hugs,
Linda
Yes I do - especially because I know God put it there for us.
And I love this:
"So must we continue to sing, even when the grayness of life arrives."
How true and I always need to remember that.
"Look for the silver lining whenever clouds appear in the sky"...I like that song...I like your post. We do not have many gray skies but do have a marine layer until the sun comes out...sometimes it lasts a good part of the day.
Yes, yes, yes! And I want to plant myself right in the middle of that last picture. Gorgeous! I'm off to bed. Goodnite! Tammy
