"Do not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight."
Benjamin Franklin
Benjamin Franklin was a wise old fellow.
His words show a great deal of wisdom, all these years later.
Now how many of us have a tendency to worry and fret, wring our hands and furrow our eyebrows over something that has not yet happened?
I'd venture to say most people do that. At times I know that's something I'm guilty of.
Today will be a good day to keep in the sunlight.
No worrying about something that's not here yet but enjoying the moment that IS here.

HOW ABOUT YOU?
WILL YOU KEEP IN THE SUNLIGHT TODAY?
I will try! Sun is shining today and it is glorious! Have a wonderful week. Kit
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful picture. I tend to dwell on things that have happened, rather than worry about what may or may not come. Hope your day is wonderful. Tammy

ReplyDeleteand yes, I'm keeping in the sunlight.
Although we don't write about the same things, the two paths our postings take seem to bring us to a similar ending.
Wishing you glimpses of heaven in unexpected places.......

ReplyDeleteI'm going to try my best to remember this quote from Mr. Ben this week every time something starts to get a bit dark!!! HOPE you have a great week!!!
ReplyDeleteGuilty of a tendency to worry too! Your post reminds me of Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
ReplyDeleteA big Thank You for sharing on TOTT!
Oh, how could I forget to say how awesome your photo is! The sun flair is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI felt sunshine all around me today as I was with four of my sisters and my daughter and that doesn't happen very often. Love the photo you posted today!

ReplyDeleteOne of the things technology hasn't done is take away our worry. I like your "stay in the sunshine." Good advice!
