Visit to a Pumpkin Patch

A visit to a pumpkin patch will almost guarantee that you will find a pumpkin you want to bring home.

Imagine not being able to find one in this patch?

These photos were taken at Whitney's Farm Market in a small, rural town in Western Massachusetts called Cheshire. (They have a website, too, so check it out if you'd like to read more about them.)

This year, I've seen a lot of white pumpkins used in decorating.
I think they are quite unique and are kind of like "ghost" pumpkins!

Want to see the cutest little fluffy pumpkin of all?

This is my new baby granddaughter at two weeks old!

Isn't she the pizazz?

My Grammie's heart is filled to the brim with love.

DO YOU LIKE WHITE  PUMPKINS OR DO YOU PREFER TRADITIONAL ONES?

  1. Awwww, your new granddaughter is adorable! And pumpkins....I like the traditional for carving a jack-o-lantern, but the white are gorgeous to decorate with!

  2. I agree she is the Pizazz! Traditionally I like to carve the orange ones and decorate with the white ones. I actually bought to fake white ones (shh don't tell). I figure that if I buy one nice fake a year it will save me buying the real ones year after year.

    Enjoy your week Susan!

  3. Such a precious little punkin!! I'm sure she will NEVER be spoiled by her grandmother..... :-)

I have never used white pumpkins, so I truly cannot give an opinion there, but they surely do look good as decorating touches.

    Have a great week!

  4. Oh, yes! What a cute little pumpkin! I'm rather traditional, I imagine. I believe I prefer the orange pumpkins. I heard that there were even pink pumpkins this season. I haven't seen any of those.

    Have a good Monday! xo

  5. Your little grandchild is so so cute. I'm sure you will bring her lots of pumpkins in the future. I like orange pumpkins but all mine are fake since the kids grew up.
