Blogland is kind of like a huge, extended family to me.
Now, for the number one highlight of 2012 in my life, my new granddaughter!

Grammie Susan tells me she wants me to say "hello" to all her special readers.
She says I'm the best thing that happened to her during 2012. Well, it's true that I'm her only grandkid so far.
That'll probably change in the future but we'll deal with it when it happens.
I think this world is pretty doggone interesting.
Grammie Susan showed me some kids' videos on youTube and they were terrific. I loved them!
My Mommy dresses me in this reindeer outfit but I'm really a baby girl. I like the outfit, though, cuz it's nice and warm. See my antlers?
If Grammie and Mommy want people to think I'm a baby reindeer, that's okay with me.
I went to my very first Christmas party but I got tired real fast.
Well, nice to meet all you sweet people in blogland.
Grammie Susan said you were all quite wonderful and she was right.

Susan she looks like YOU! What a cute little precious baby girl. She could sit among your beautiful dolls and fit right in. Enjoy all of her "firsts". Her little dimpled smile did me in. Happy New Year. I am certain you are keeping a journal for her and writing a book for her.

ReplyDeleteI have had quite a few highlights in 2012, including the wedding of a beloved niece and the relocation of our daughter. Even though that relocation did not move her closer to us, it represented a more job situation for both her and her hubby, so we are pleased with that.

Your granddaughter is so sweet and you are so lucky mine haven't produced any children, I many grand nieces and nephews and some great great ones that makes me sound old.
ReplyDeleteThis year lots happened my daughter was admitted to the bar so she is now a lawyer, my son has started a new job in QLD so he and his wife are moving a long way away.I am getting two new cats so I will have 4 and a half cats now.

My best gift in 2012 was my baby grandson Jonah...born June 2. Are babies the best? Especially when they are your grandchildren! Hi little reindeer..you are so cute and special!
