The craft shown in this post is now decorating our side porch.
It was great fun to do and not hard at all.
The first time I saw it demonstrated was on the post of a fellow blogger, Kit from Montana! (Thanks, Kit. I finally did it!)
She decorated an entire paned door.
Shown here is a window.
I found pink plastic pieces in a clearance tent at Wal-Mart's plus, I had transparent and red glass pieces, and marbles, too.
They were applied to the old window, once its frame was painted, with Devcon Silicon Adhesive.
It was great fun putting it all together.
I love the way it looks on the side porch with light pouring through it.
Today we are joining Home and Garden Thursday on Kathy's blog, A Delightsome Life.
Stop by there and check out all the great posts!
HAVE YOU EVER CREATED WITH GLASS PIECES ON GLASS?
Oh Susan, these are very beautiful. I might have my students do this for a parent's project
ReplyDeleteI love that. My mind is thinking - you spray the entire window with silicone - to make the stones stick - how do you get it off the rest of the window so it doesn't collect dust? It really is a beautiful piece Susan. I love it. sandie
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: I like your window glass hearts. Great job. I see that your house is very nice. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteThis is really nice work, Susan. I have never done anything like this, but you have given me an idea.:-)
ReplyDeleteThis looks so similar to stained glass but so much easier...love hearts too.
