October is chugging by quite quickly.
Today, Sunday, is already the 20th!
It's important to savor each second.
Life goes by quite fast, too.
I think back to the days when my kids were little and now they are all grown up.
One even has a child of her own! How the years do fly by.
It is a good thing to have the realization of how delicate and fragile life is.
That way, we can make the most of each moment we have and appreciate that life really is a tremendous gift.
We know by now not to take even a second of it for granted.
Today I wish you lightness of heart!
May your day be most satisfying and filled with sunshine (and if there is no sunshine in the sky, may you find it within.)
WHAT IS ONE THING YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE SPECIAL THANKS FOR THIS FINE AUTUMN DAY?
Good friends, family and my grandsons come to mind on this autumn Sunday where it is 80 plus degrees and sunny!
ReplyDeleteSo thoughtful and lovely Susan. Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteYou know what I am thankful for this fall...my grandbaby, little Otto. I am also thankful that my daughter is able to stay home with him, maybe for a year! I am excited for her and hope she can work it out.
Love ya,
Linda
Nice post Susan. Love the light shining through the lace.
ReplyDeleteI give thanks today to God for giving me good health so that I can walk and walk as we did today. We drove to one of our lovely beach areas Victor Harbour, had a picnic on the lawns and walked across the very very long bridge to a place called Granite Island. Had an icecream and walked back. It was a warmer than normal Spring day 31c

I ♥ those lace curtains! Your reminder is MOST timely for me :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for my health...that the pain in my knees is negligible. I'm thankful that my weight loss is behind me and not looming OVER me! I'm thankful for the "wherewithal" to purchase gasoline and meals out this past month as I've invested extra time caring for my parents. I'm thankful for a supportive husband. I'm a THANKFUL woman this morning.
Good morning Susan
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkin looks so sweet through the lace curtain. I am thankful for my Family and friends today. Take care.

I'm grateful for God's eternal love for us, for the beautiful fall colors here in Michigan and for the eyes to see and enjoy them. I'm also grateful that the Lord is giving me the grace to endure my sadness over our Detroit Tigers loss last night. Boo hoo!
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: indeed, time flies. Children grow very fast. The important thing is to be happy with the little things of life. . Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteYour view is glorious, Susan. If I had to name just one thing I'm thankful for on this Sunday in October, it would have to be my husband. He's The Man and even though there are times we don't see eye-to-eye, I know he's going to be the one in my corner when the chips are down.
ReplyDeleteYes, this month is going by tooooo fast. I have a lot more to pack in the next few days...and flowers still looks good but frost looms. Oh, I am not ready for them to die away!
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderfully beautiful things to be thankful for!
ReplyDeleteOh Susan, I want to give thanks for all my kids being around me today for the pumpkin carving contest. It was such a fun day.
ReplyDeleteYour posts always make me smile, and they are like a breath of fresh air to me.
Love the Pumpkin picture!

Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteYes! I agree with you. Time flies.
So, I celebrate life, and give thanks to the Lord for a new breath, for each moment every single day. God is everywhere.
I like middle seasons, like spring and fall. I do not like winter.
I like summer days, but not too hot. I enjoy reading your posts.
Thank you, Susan for sharing your loving ways with us!
Have a Happy Halloween in advance!
Greetings from Poet Starry.
I love your post my friend. You sure are right about how fast things are moving!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved the last happy pumpkin - good way to end the night - happy.
Love,sandie
I'm thankful that our weather is cooling off, though I must say, I don't ever remember it happening this early before. I'm also very, very grateful when I climb into my comfy, clean bed at night. I think of all the people who don't have that luxury and say an extra thank you. It is something to be appreciated for sure. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteSusan what a beautiful post, words and photos! Thanks for sharing that. Have a great day!
