Hello, sweet blog peeps!
Christmas dollhouse is almost 100 percent completed and ready for your viewing pleasure!
Today, we are going to show you the bedroom!
By the way, the Tiffany style standing lamp you see to the left, I ordered from a seller on eBay who lives in China.
It was very inexpensive and is quite beautiful!
Christmas bedroom has a lovely poinsettia bedspread (a handkerchief) and the top is a lacy cover found in the gift shop of the Molly Brown House in Denver, Colorado.
It was during a vacation in that lovely city, a few years ago, that we visited the Molly Brown house. We even attended a cool Victorian tea there!
Hope you can see Christmas cat with the bow on her ear and a scarf around her neck.
See all the darling little gifts? Some of them started out as earrings!
The swan, you may recall, came from Italy and was one of the teeny tiny gifts my daughter bought for my dollhouse!
These gifts are on a dresser and one of the gifts can be seen reflected in the tiny mirror!
Another day soon, we'll show you the living room.
Today we are joining Thrifty Things Friday on Diann's blog, The Thrifty Groove.
Her co-host is Linda at A La Carte.
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, FASCINATES YOU ABOUT DOLLHOUSES?
I've always enjoyed looking at your doll houses with all their special decorations. I hope you leave them to your granddaughter for future decorations!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! My problem is I would be redecorating all the time.
ReplyDeleteI recently, when packing, came across some furniture my mother made for my girls. I'm thinking one day of doing a dollhouse and you're my inspiration! XOXO
ReplyDeleteThese dollhouse furnishings are so tiny! I don't think I would be able to work with them. I seem to be all thumbs.
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: I like the room in your dollhouse miniature. The furnishings are fabulous. I really like your furniture. The bedspread is beautiful. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas decor in your dollhouse is so sweet! Thanks for sharing at TTF!
ReplyDeletehugs,

Oh I totally love your dollhouse, all dolled up for Christmas. I won't get mine ready until I decorate my house. I always do the doll's house last, when I do my tea room. The dollhouse is in there. Now I am all excited..thanks for you post. Gee, I so wish we lived closer...it would be so so so fun to play dolls.

Oh Susan, I love it all! I wouldn't be bored if you showed us all of it in one post! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your hardwood floors. I like looking for earrings for minis too. That's funny you should mention the Molly Brown house, we have one here in Missouri too. (Hannibal)
Thanks so much for letting me know you had posted about your dollhouse.
Can't wait to see more,
Gina
You're dollhouse is so wonderful - what I like about dollhouses is they look like the real thing - and it is amazing they can make things so small.
ReplyDeleteI love the swan.
