Treasure Life's Little Things

You know, the older I get, the more I appreciate the smallest things of beauty in life.

Each day holds so many treasured small events and special moments. 

If we blink an eye, we might miss them.

So we have to be on-the-lookout for them, so to speak.

Hyacinths are among my favorite fragrant flowers. 

Last year when a few came home from the supermarket, hubs saved the bulbs.

As spring makes its debut at a turtle's pace, any sign of greenery is a call for elation.

The other day, I went into the backyard and, lo and behold, there were a couple of blooming hyacinths in the little round area around a young tree!

I picked a couple of blossoms and put them into a cobalt blue bottle-turned-vase!

The late afternoon sun poured through the makeshift bouquet and it was just a lovely sight and fragrant, too!

Instant perfection!
