These Boots Were Made for Plantin'

You've heard that song , "These Boots Are Made for Walking,"  by Nancy Sinatra, haven't you?

Well, the boots in this post are for planting!

They are big boots, too.

Spotted them in Elizabeth Park Rose Garden in Hartford, Connecticut!

DO YOU USE DIFFERENT KINDS OF CONTAINERS FOR YOUR PLANTS?

  1. Looks nice. I have seen boots as planters before but I just never thought I had the place! They certainly would be easy to move around as needed!

  3. I'm thinking about trying this. cute idea. I usually have a black thumb, even when the plants are in the ground, but I like these.

  4. I don't plant much and I usually just use regular pots. This is a cute idea. I'm sure YOU will find special things as well to plant your flowers in.

  9. Thats a pretty good idea, I never used boots before but I had some that no longer fit and couldn't think what to do with them so I threw them out.

  11. I used an old pair of Mr OP's work boots for awhile, but the rotted really quickly.

    Love this look!
