How Are Flowers Named?

Have you ever wondered how flowers get their names?

One that's extremely appropriately named is Queen Anne's lace.

It is so delicate yet elegant, too, and is very fit for a queen!

It's lovely alone or tucked into a bouquet.

ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH QUEEN ANNE'S LACE?

  3. Queen Anne's Lace is abundant here, a lovely wildflower along roadsides. It is a favorite and always lets me know summer is here.

  4. Apparently some areas consider it a noxious weed and try to limit its growth. I just googled the history of its name and there's some interesting folklore behind it. I think it's very pretty and if it grows with wild abandon, then I'm all for it. :) Best wishes, Tammy
