Isn't it amazing when a friend or family member buys a gift that you would pick out for yourself?
A few of my dear friends apparently know exactly what would be loved.
They picked out very lovely gifts for a September birthday.
A dear friend gave china gifts that are just cherished.
The lovely cross and earrings came from another dear, sweet friend.
Knowing my love for reading, she also gave two books.
Patio candles are always welcome and useful!
This necklace and matching bracelet are so special, too, like the friend who gave them.
Now that September is long gone, the cards have been taken down but will be read one more time before they are put away.
They sure brought a lot of smiles!
After that, no more birthday talk until next!
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH BIRTHDAY CARDS YOU RECEIVE?

ReplyDeleteThanks for comments on my blog. I am sure you probably ate at the Shed. It has been a good stop in Santa Fe since 1953. It is fun to know you have been there too!
What wonderful gifts! I love having a birthday month! I keep my cards for awhile and then recycle them!
