Mum's the Word for Autumn



Even though yellow is far from being my favorite color, it is pretty in mums.


 Mums, short for chrysanthemums, are  generous and hardy flowers for fall.

When the sun shines down on our yellow mums, they look like spun gold.


It makes me so happy to see these lovely flowers in our yard.



Plus, they were  among many September birthday gifts from Patti, a dear and faithful friend from high school days!

    What a wonderful display of mums. I like yellow mums, but those pinks were a delight to see.

    Oh yes I do love mums and have two plants on my patio of yellow ones that I got last year and they have blossomed again. Yours look so lovely. What a nice birthday gift!

    Mums are main décor here in our town, on porches, front lawns, everywhere. They are so pretty.

    I love mums in the fall and always try to buy some. I seem to buy the yellow (even though its not a fav color) because they are so bright and pretty for Fall!!

    Yes, I love mums too. Yellow is not my favorite mum because I want a change from summer marigolds, Black eyed Susans, and such. For mums I like deep scarlet and dark oranges, the subtle shades of autumn.

    Mums are the perfect flowers for Fall. I love them in all colors. We have plum colors, orange and yellow. happy weekend.

    Mums just sing Fall, don't they Susan?
    So welcoming, cheery and they just brighten up the front entry so very well.
    Yes, We have several mums too-but yours are exceptionally bright and full!
